Learning Organization - Impediments

Employees fearing from expressing their feelings and thoughts, especially in matters concerning relationships, partnerships, management, and other aspects of life in the organization.

People do not trust their peers, employees do not trust their supervisors, and managers do not trust their subordinates.

People can not see beyond their own interest and are unwilling to realize that the copmany's and their own interests are interconnected.

People are hiding or covering mistakes just to avoid criticism.

Responsibility is out, pointing fingers is in.

Leaders are sure that the employees with low level of commitment is the real problem.

If you have witnessed any of those in your organization, it may be fairly difficult to transform this organization into a LO as long as we don't change these first.

If you do take whatever steps needed, you may be surprised to witness your organization developing these characteristics of a Learning Organization
