It is important to understand that the Learning Organization is not yet another trend but is an overall concept that taps into many areas of our lives, our organizations, our families, and our communities.

The key is realizing that



This insight is essential for transforming an organization from one that survives into one that learns.

It sometimes good to have one or more 'change-agents,' key figures in the organization. Their role is to train in the theory and practice, and they usually are helped by a professional coach who leads them through the process.
It is not even necessary that all the employees know that a learning initiative has started.
